There is a lot of buzz in the corporate world about our personal brand identity. The company has a brand and we want to establish what we personally want to be known for within the broader brand.
Often there is buzz, sizzle, no meat.
Recently, the unique and brilliant Cara Suglich took me through a process of creating a brand identity for Diamond Mind. Before Cara, I thought the brand was for the customer to buy into. True, and that comes later.
It starts with you, imagining your truest true, expressing the values and qualities you want to embody through your business. Cara did some powerful asking, deep listening and world class writing.
I have noticed my desire rise, inviting me to step into, come from, live into the highest aspirations of Diamond Mind.
My mission is simple, never simplistic, and certainly not easy. I believe in my clients. I hold their highest and truest ideals as they struggle with the day-to-day. I try to meet them where they are and bring them where they aspire to be.
Connect to your inner diamonds and express (shine) them in the world in a way that impacts, influences, persuades, encourages others to collaborate with YOU to create a better world.
We do this through conversation, with ourselves and with all we encounter.
The manifest below, written by Cara is a reminder of the truth I long to hold in each conversation. Even though I fall short daily, each day provides me ample opportunity to practice living into my Diamond vision.
Diamond Mind Manifesto
Close your eyes.
Take a deep breath.
What do you see?
Do you see something spectacular?
Is there something back there,
a deeply true vision
that makes your pulse quicken.
What is it you want to see
on the backs of your eyelids
when you close your eyes to dream?
Do you see diamonds?
I see acres of diamonds in you.
I can help you see them too.
So let’s get mining.
Let’s look at your diamonds
— marvel at them in your light! —
and really connect to your dream,
because it’s already real.
Let’s start with our conversations.
At its root, it’s “to change together.”
It’s an exchange.
Of energy, of words, of time, of care,
of faith in the process.
Ultimately, conversation is mining for
each other’s truth,
our diamonds in the rough.
So let’s do it.
Open your eyes.
Let’s get true.
Live your truest you.
Take a moment to envision your best self. What step can you take today, to live better aligned to your truest you?
I am here for you whenever conversation is helpful.
As always, we’d love to hear from you.
