Rebecca Tanaka is a top-notch trainer, coach, instructional designer and author with extensive global experience in private business, government and education. Rebecca develops and conducts in-person and virtual soft skills training and coaching programs for a broad range of businesses, nonprofit organizations and universities. She has published six books and 30+ professional and academic articles. Her honors include Outstanding Employee of the Year from the Naval Submarine Base Bangor and Best Table Topics speaker from Toastmasters.
Max leads Diamond Mind workshops that help people connect to themselves and their true voices, rooted in his experience as an actor, writer, director and educator. Max has appeared in several films, including La Mission opposite Benjamin Bratt, a 2009 Sundance Film Selection. He has performed at the American Conservatory Theater, Huntington Theater and InterArt Theatre, among others. He has a private audition and coaching practice, leads audition workshops at colleges and universities across the country, including a teaching position at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
Tony is a master of leadership development, competency modeling, communications, coaching for performance/development, teambuilding and talent/succession management processes and systems. Prior to starting his practice, Human Citizen, Tony led Global Talent Identification and Development for Tupperware. There, he spearheaded, designed and delivered numerous global leadership development programs and provided one-on-one coaching to hundreds of emerging, middle and senior leaders. His coaching style is compassionate and supportive, but also direct in providing essential feedback.
As a consultant, facilitator and coach, Gretchen brings a positive, solution-focused approach to all her client engagements. A seasoned change management professional, Adrienne’s background is rooted in communication and learning development. In her consulting practice at Positive Delta and in her work with Diamond Mind, Adrienne coaches leaders and teams for resilience, adaptability and team building to implement solutions that increase adoption and improve team and co-worker performance. Adrienne has worked for many years leading global change initiatives in support of new service delivery models and systems. Rooted in behavioral science practices, Adrienne applies a comprehensive analysis and empathetic style to effectively help leaders get to the root of their employees’ change and organizational needs.
When it comes to communication, Catherine Johns wrote the book. And did the radio show. And gave the talk. She helps people discover answers to questions such as: What do you say about yourself, your work and the value you offer? How are you perceived while you say it? She offers a practical path to making a stronger impression when you speak — in a meeting, on a conference call, at a rally or anywhere. A catalyst for compelling communication, Catherine shows clients how to create more impact and achieve greater success.
Cheryl is a marketing strategist with a passion for improving outcomes for organizations through the strategic use of data. For 20 years, she has led hundreds of Voice of the Customer research projects that have informed strategy. Cheryl’s specialty is leveraging creativity and technology to find new ways to tap into B2C and B2B customer sentiment. She co-founded and leads LiminalityInc, a boutique research and marketing firm, in 2008.
Laura inspires positive, mindful behavior changes in people by coaching the whole person. Since 1994, she has helped clients all over the world communicate more effectively. Laura has trained more than 20,000 individuals and has been the lead facilitator for 500+ professional development programs in U.S. and global markets. Organizations often call upon Laura for mediation when they are confronted with generational gap issues. She has experienced great success with people ranging from the CEO to entry-level workers. Laura utilizes effective communication techniques and scientifically-proven mindfulness practices to enhance individual and team skill sets.
Steven is a writer, producer, director, and illustrator with two Emmy nominations. He contributes transformative creativity to the Diamond Mind team every time he is engaged. His credits include the critically-acclaimed animated documentary Freedom Dance with Mariska Hargitay and Old School New School, a personal study on creativity. In 2019, Steven produced George Berlin’s animated projection mapping epic, EarthRise Apollo: Moonbeams. It was an artistic and technical triumph. Fischer and Berlin followed this success with EarthRise Apollo: Lunar Toons, commissioned by Blink Cincinnati, one of the largest light, art and projection mapping events in the U.S.
A cross-cultural consultant, trainer and facilitator, Lee provides communications strategies that improve diversity and inclusion results for leaders, managers, boards, and teams. She roots her strength-based process in the unique culture of each organization she partners with, along with complimentary data that helps her understand the culture of the region. Together with her clients, Lee designs a plan to engage more demographic groups through messaging, partnership development, and outreach. With 15 years’ experience partnering with businesses and communities led by women and people of color, Lee’s clients say she’s effective and supportive as she bridges systems and people, all while including a wide variety of stakeholders in the experience of her process. Lee’s mission at Zena Consultant, which she founded in 2008, is to improve economic equity through business capacity and growth. Zena Consulting is a Washington state OMWBE-certified DBE.
Terese began her career in marketing leadership with several Fortune 500 companies. After 20 years, she followed her passion for entrepreneurship in a successful real estate renovation and private lending/investing company. As co-owner of Prompt Solutions, Terese manages sales, marketing and operations. Observing a need to include mid-life aged women in initiatives, she started Women Empowered Together, a collaborative women’s real estate investing group.
