Conflict Transformation on June 12th

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]My programs on conflict management seek to simplify our understanding of conflict, become more aware of our conflict tendencies and assess the impact we have on others. This awareness better equips us to develop small step strategies to shift from confrontation to collaboration.

Image of Aikido being used as a metaphor for conflict transformation.

You won’t want to miss next week’s publication of my conversation with Judy Ringer. Judy is a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido. She draws from the metaphor, the movement and the principles of Aikido to help us move through conflict effectively. She calls it conflict transformation. That term alone moves me perceptually from avoid to engage. Who doesn’t want a bit of transformation in their lives? And concerning the avoid conflict strategy, as Dr. Phil says, “How’s that working for you?”

You’ll receive sound philosophy as well as practical tips to begin the transformation right where you are with what you have.

As always, we’d love to hear from you.
