Day Two
Participants divided into smaller groups for longer presentation practice with feedback. Morning and Afternoon session.

Public speaking is often listed as the number one fear. Ahead of Death! Seinfeld famously noted this means you’d rather be in the casket than give the eulogy. This common fear provides a great opportunity to gain in confidence, exposure (not that kind), and expand your influence. What if there was a way to discover how good you can become while having have fun doing it?

OVERALL OBJECTIVE: To develop the skills and the confidence needed to make clear, professional, and persuasive presentations to audiences of any size. We create a non-threatening atmosphere in which each participant makes several short presentations on day 1, followed by a longer, persuasive presentation on day 2. All presentations are critiqued by the instructor and videotaped for immediate playback. In addition to the emphasis on physical delivery skills, other important topics include analyzing the audience, organizing content for persuasion, using visuals effectively to support the message, and handling questions and objections.

Topics Covered:

  • Physical Delivery Skills
  • Audience Analysis
  • Organize for influence; Tell the story
  • Channeling Nerves
  • Effective Q&A
  • Transition and Flow
